Behavioral Health Counselor

Job Description: As a Behavioral Health Counselor you will work with the behavioral health providers, medical staff, nursing staff, management team, and the Board of Directors to assure clinical quality of the highest standard. This position counsels students with emotional, developmental and/or personality problems, referring severe cases to appropriate community or medical agencies, establishing contact with parents to inform counseling taking place and establish support when applicable. Working with the management to carry out Federal guidelines and to communicate with representatives from the US Public Health Services, participating in the grant process if requested. Complete other duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision.


Job Requirements: LMSW or LCSW for a School Based Health Center (SBHC) Setting. The NYS Licensed Social Worker Loan Forgiveness Program through HESC is available for qualifying candidates.

Human Resources Specialist

Job Description: As a HR Specialist with NOCHSI you will work closely with the HR Director in all aspects of HR duties.
This position will conduct recruiting tasks which include job postings, receiving and tracking employment applications, process employment verifications once candidates are identified, and conducting New Hire Orientation. Assist in conducting payroll operations which include entering data changes for employees, reviewing and processing timecard verifications using the electronic timecard system. The HR Specialist will also conduct employee benefit enrollment, cancellation and reconciliation of invoices monthly.

Job Requirements: Associates Degree preferred with 1 – 3 years experience in the HR field

Medical Records Clerk, Full-time

Job Description: Fulton Health Center,Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Assist patients who call or visit with medical records issues and document in the EHR/Practice Management system as needed. Provide clinical and clerical support when requested.
Copy/scan/mail completed documents and record on form when it was processed. Print schedules in preparation for upcoming visits. Call to request consultative, ER/Urgent Care reports for patients seen outside of office. Must be flexible to organizational needs across NOCHSI network.
Scan all patient documents as instructed with accuracy and compliance according to the Look-up Code report. Collect and scan loose documents from clinical areas into the appropriate patient chart. Task documents to staff as appropriate. Prepare documents for internal and external audits
Receive and process request/release for information and record on release what was sent in detail
Post charges for records released in Practice Management. Route incoming and outgoing faxes, labs and miscellaneous documents to the appropriate recipients. Recording appropriate information in the transfer and deceased patient logs. Open and distribute Center mail.
Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision.

Job Requirements: Graduate of a certified Nursing Program, with a license to practice practical nursing. As a Dental Assistant, you will act as chair side assistant to the dentist, preparing necessary materials and equipment for various dental procedures. Cleaning, sterilizing and setting up instruments, preparing exam rooms and setup between patients, taking x-rays, and performing routine maintenance on dental equipment.
